I began my first day of high school on Monday! I am taking a business class with an amazing teacher. I have blown myself and my parents away! All of my classmates have been very inclusive and welcoming. They all say hi when I come in and it makes me feel so happy. I have always wanted to be in general education and I have finally accomplished it! I participate like everyone else and even got the best score in the class on my quiz today. All of my peers clapped for me and I have never felt so good about my abilities! I hope to keep progressing so I can go to school full time. This has already changed my life for the better and I’m so happy I pushed for this over the home therapy that I have grown out of. I believe I can accomplish great things if I just keep pushing the norm. Always push through the hard times because anything can be accomplished with the right support and determination.
