I recently got new glasses for reading. I have never had glasses before but have always had trouble with scanning and my eyes being hard to control. I am wearing them while I type on my device and I am very shocked by how different things are. I am able to type much faster because I’m not having to try so hard to control them. I never knew my eyes could impact my typing speed. I am really looking forward to seeing how they will improve my endurance for reading and other leisure skills.
If you have a loved one who is non-speaking, I recommend taking them to an eye doctor who is familiar with testing non-speaking, autistic people, so they can use their device well and be more comfortable.
